How to Authenticate your Certificate of Employment in the Philippines



If you are applying for an overseas job one of your requirements is to authenticate your certificate of employment. Here is the step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Step 1. Gather an original copy of your Certificate of employment.

Step 2. Go to a notary public and ask them to give you an affidavit for your documents and pay the 250pesos fo 3copies, they ask me to present the original and photocopy of my coe.

 Note: It is advisable that you go to the notary public inside the city hall because it's very legit
 (As for me, I went to the third-floor main building of new Bacoor City Hall in Cavite to have may coe notarized)



Step 3. Proceed to Regional Trial Court in your city for your Certificate of Authority for a Notarial Act or CANA to be signed by Executive Judge and pay 35 and 15 pesos.


Step 4. Bring your documents to the Department of Foreign Affairs, accomplish the authentication form and pay a necessary fee of 200pesos for the express and 100 for the regular processing.
